Like so many of us who have found Human Design, I was aware of it for several years before I finally gave in to my curiosity.
It had been coming up for me a lot on social media and through chance conversations, so I realised it was coming up for a reason and it was time to open the lid on the topic.
And I properly fell down the rabbit hole.
You may be familiar with HD already, but if you’re new to it you can think of HD as a cross between Myers-Briggs and Astrology, but A LOT more in-depth.
Human design is a system that seeks to understand and help us to live in alignment with our unique nature and potential.
The idea behind this is that by understanding and living in accordance with our unique design, we can live more authentic, fulfilling lives and make better decisions.
What is Human Design based on?
It combines principles from various fields such as astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, and quantum physics to create a detailed map of an individual's characteristics, strengths, and challenges.
In human design, each of us is said to have a specific type that is determined by their birth date, time, and place.
This type is represented by a specific combination of energies, which are represented in a chart called a Human Design chart or BodyGraph. This is an energetic blueprint for how we are designed to navigate life with ease.
How can we use Human Design in business and marketing?
In business we have to wear all of the hats all of the time, and so much of what we do is based on what we think we should be doing and expectations / conditioning rather than what's right for us.
But how do we know what's right for us? Human Design helps us to understand this.
When I first found Human Design, I was at once stuck by how accurate my chart was and how much potential HD holds for small business owners and career changers like myself.
I could clearly see where I had been working against my design and work had felt hard, but I could also see the wood from the trees in terms of my strengths and how I can best work in alignment and flow.
Personally, finding this system has been a beautiful eye opener for me, and I think so many other business owners would benefit from gaining an understanding of their chart - which is exactly why I decided to offer chart unpacks to my community.
By understanding your own human design...
You can let go of the 'should do's' and instead create work that is in alignment with your true nature.
You can create personal routines and habits that support you to feel at your best energetically so that your work flows with more ease.
You'll be able to honour and work with your energy rather than against it.
You be able to tell when you're out of alignment and know what to do to get back on track.
You can tune into your body to understand how to make better decisions that are in alignment.
You can find out how to do marketing in a way that it doesn't feel like you're swimming upstream, but instead you'll be able to attract the right opportunities and people at the right time.
You'll be more accepting of yourself and develop a deeper self-worth from understanding your strengths.
By understanding the designs of the people you work with...
You can learn how to communicate and collaborate in a way that is most effective and respectful of their unique needs and tendencies.
You can learn how to lead in a way that is most effective and supportive of your team
You'll develop a deeper acceptance and understanding of others.
Overall, using human design in business can help you to create a more harmonious and effective business as well as to make better decisions and achieve greater success.
