This is intended as a little guide to the process and what happens next.
There will be moments where it's over to you, moments where it's very much over to me, and moments where we come together to explore what's emerging.
You don't need to hold the whole process in your head. This page is here so you always know where we are, what's happening next, and what I need from you.
And if anything is unclear at any point, just ask. I'm always happy to help.
A note on websites
If we're creating your brand and bespoke website together, the two develop in tandem. As your visual identity, messaging and creative direction take shape, the website begins to take shape alongside them.
If you're working with me as your Website Collaborator (website build-along), the process works slightly differently. You’ll receive everything you need to get started in our first mentoring session, including your website template.
01. OPENING SPACE

First things first, there's a little admin to do.
You should receive your invoice, contract and Starting Point questionnaire from me imminently, if you haven't already.
Your completed contract and payment commission our work together and officially get the project underway :)
Your part: Take a look through everything, complete your contract and deposit payment, and let me know if you have any questions..
02. UNCOVERING WHAT IS UNDERNEATH

Gathering your thoughts and completing your questionnaire
This is where you get to tell me what's really going on.
Your questionnaire isn't a test, and there aren't any right answers. In fact, please don't try too hard to get it right!
I'd much rather hear the slightly messy, instinctive version than the beautifully polished one, so let yourself answer from the place beneath the carefully considered business language.
I want to hear how you talk about what you do and why it matters.
Don't over-shape your answers for me, don't turn them into website copy, and don't worry about making them sound clever.
03. ENERGETIC INTELLIGENCE

Unearthing your golden threads
If you're comfortable with me bringing your energetic intelligence into our work together, I'd love to include this as one of the lenses I use as we explore your brand.
This means I can bring together your energetic blueprint with what you've shared in your questionnaire, what emerges when we talk, and the themes I'm noticing in your work and this next chapter.
It isn't about putting you in a box, predicting anything about you or deciding what your brand should be. Think of it simply as another lens, helping us notice the threads that might otherwise be easy to miss.
Nothing here is set in stone, it's just about seeing what resonates.
If you'd like this included, simply reply to one of my emails with your date time and place of birth. I'll use this alongside everything else you share with me to run your Golden Threads report, which we'll bring into the work after our Discovery conversation.

04. BRAND DISCOVERY

Our brand discovery session
Once I've had time to absorb everything you've shared, we'll meet for our Brand Discovery session. This is where we bring the different pieces and explore them together.
The conversation will be fluid, but we might talk about:

The ideas and themes that are beginning to emerge

Anything that needs more exploration or clarification
We'll also look at brand inspirations, exploring not just what you're drawn to visually, but why, so we can begin to understand the visual language that feels like a natural extension of everything we've uncovered.
05. BRINGING IT INTO FORM

Creative development stage
This is the part where I take everything we've uncovered and start bringing it into form.
I'll be working with your questionnaire, Golden Threads, our conversations, your positioning, your ideas, your visual world and all the little details I've noticed along the way.
This is where the thinking becomes tangible, ideas become concepts, feelings become visual choices, words become language, and your next chapter starts to become something you can actually see.
There is nothing for you to do here, this is where you get to step back and let me work.
06. CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT SESSION

Then we come back together to explore what’s taken shape.
Once I have something meaningful to show you, we'll meet for our first Creative Development Session.
This is where you'll see what I've been working on and we'll explore it together.
I'll talk you through the thinking behind the creative direction and you'll have space to respond, ask questions, notice what resonates and tell me what feels like you.
This isn't a dramatic ta-da! moment where you're expected to instantly approve everything - it's a conversation.
Come with an open mind and notice your response.
What feels like you?
What surprises you?
What feels exciting?
What needs to shift?
From here, I'll explain the creative thinking, listen carefully to your response and guide us through the next stage of development.
07. REFINEMENT & AMENDMENT

Now, we make it yours.
Now, we sharpen.
This is where you get to put your stamp on it.
We'll refine and amend the creative based on what we've discovered together.
Some things may be tiny details, some things may need more consideration. The aim isn't to endlessly tweak until we've lost the original idea, it's to make sure the final expression feels right, recognisable and genuinely yours.
Your part is to give me clear, considered feedback on what you're seeing and feeling, and I'll translate that feedback into thoughtful refinements, keeping sight of the bigger picture and the intention behind the work.
08. LANDING
{ELEMENT: EARTH}
Brand assets handover
Once we've agreed that everything is where it needs to be, I'll gather and prepare your final assets for handover.
You'll receive everything you need to take your new expression forward, along with any relevant files, links, guidance or access details.
This is the point where the work moves from something we've been creating together to something you own and can use.
And this is where your new brand begins its life in the world.
